Kids Musical Instruments
Many of us parents are aware of the great benefits that our children can have by giving them the opportunity to learn how to play a musical instrument. Aside from the enjoyment, positive entertainment and many hours of fun, we know that when our children learn to play musical instruments they gain a feeling of reaching goals, a boost in self-esteem, and the sense of 'practice makes perfect', a great lesson to learn for life. Unfortunately, at times children fail to reach their musical goals and aspirations and more often than not it is not due to their lack...

Justin Bieber's new music video has set a record-breaking number of views on YouTube. "Boyfriend", which was premiered on Thursday, May 3 night, received more than 8 million views within just 24 hours.
The number posted by Bieber's video shattered previous record breaker,Rihanna's "Where Have You Been", which was released a week prior. As of Sunday morning, "Boyfriend" has garnered more than 13 million hits, thanks partly to the campaign that the heartthrob has launched on Twitter to make "Boyfriend" the most popular video ever posted on YouTube.
On related news, the model that becomes Bieber's love interest on the video has clarified that her relationship with the pop star was strictly professional. Bieber could not take his hands off Rachel Barnes in the video, making many Beliebers jealous.

Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend' video debuts sans fondue
If Justin Bieber were your boyfriend, you'd probably spend a lot of time in parkades. The pop star's "Boyfriend" video debuted Thursday night -- amassing more than 2 million views on YouTube by Friday morning. Shot in L.A., it's a straightforward concept: Bieber and some Step Up 2 extras somehow drive to the top of some building, then spend the afternoon dancing and pulling donuts in their "swaggy" muscle cars. And, just like the song, the video finds Bieber making an incredibly easy pitch to the ladies: be his girlfriend. Please.
A dream date with JB, however, isn’t exactly what he promises in the lyrics. There’s no fireside fondue, no trips around the world. Instead, Bieber’s special lady has to be content watching him dance, watching him lead a sing-a-long, watching him show off his hella cool wheels. And she has to share him with an extensive cast of extras -- but then, that’s a feeling millions of Beliebers have long since grown used to.
And for a tune that's supposed to usher in the just-turned-18-year-old's "mature" new era, the vibe isn't that much different from his break-out clip, "Baby." Bieber is still singing and dancing -- dreamily -- with a crew of kids. He has his driver’s license this time, though. That’s something.
For more than a month, Bieber had been teasing the video's premiere with preview clips -- including 45 seconds of footage aired during an April episode of The Voice. Those clips, as we mentioned yesterday, were directed by Colin Tilley (the "Boyfriend" video was helmed by Director X), and featured Bieber in a variety of impressionistic scenes -- strikingly different from sunny vibe of the final cut. Some of those scenes are used in the opening of "Boyfriend,” and as Bieber explained during an interview with MTV last night, the change-up was just him playing with his fans.
"I kind of switched it up from all the teasers," Bieber said. "I switched up the whole video on them, and really, I think it's super cool. I wanted to do something a little bit more mature."
Just because "Boyfriend" is here doesn't mean Bieber's going to stop being a little tease. During his interview with MTV, he revealed he already has new tidbits to shill, all leading up to the June 19 release of upcoming album, Believe.
"My next single is better," he told MTV after “Boyfriend’s” premiere. "I think it’s 'As Long As You Love Me.' It’s like mid-tempo. I just think it’s edgy. It’s something I can hear on the radio. It’s going to get stuck in people’s heads," he said, also revealing tentative plans to release another track, written for his mom. "I think I'm going to put it out on Mother's Day," he said. "I don't know if it's going on the album."

Justin Bieber was asked for Rihanna's number
Teen pop star Justin Bieber says one of the One Direction member asked him for R&B star Rihanna's number.
The 18-year-old 'Boyfriend' hitmaker said that the guy also asked him to be introduced to the 'We Found Love' singer, reported Daily Star online.
"The lads are really cool. We stay in touch. You cannot tell your bro's secrets, but one of them did text me asking if I could introduce them to Rihanna.
Bieber in talks to guest star on Nine's The Voice Read more: http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/music/pop-star-justin-bieber-in-talks-to-guest-star-on-channel-nines-the-voice-in-new-departure-for-show/story-e6frfn09-1226348366707#ixzz1uAsbwTCb
JUSTIN Bieber is among international artists said to be in talks with the producers of The Voice about making an appearance on the show in upcoming weeks.
While the program's format currently doesn't provide an opening for celebrity appearances, Confidential hears that format is set to change as the series develops and the contestant numbers thin out between now and late June.
Yesterday a Nine Network representative confirmed producers are looking at "opportunities for guest artists" but stopped short of confirming Bieber was booked on a plane to Sydney.
Pictures: Justin Bieber
"The format has opportunities for guest artist performance in a show down the track," a Nine spokeswoman said last night. "Producers are in discussions with a number of people about who that might be."
There were widespread rumours that Bieber would be flying into Australia last week to start his 2012 Australian tour but for reasons unknown that tour has not got off the ground despite a massive groundswell of support for the young singer.
Industry sources said the young Canadian is still hard at work on a new album and suggested his Believe tour would happen later in the year. Universal Music representatives were not contactable yesterday.
"A trip to Australia in the next two months could serve as a nifty promotional tour ahead of the actual tour," the source said. "It would be a smart move."
TV insiders said The Voice is a program for which the ratings typically decline after the initial excitement fades.
And those massive ratings are an intoxicating enticement for any music industry executive who is looking to promote some overseas talent locally.
"Bieber is a tonic for any television show. Look what he did for Sunrise on Seven. The Voice's producers know that," they said.

Justin Bieber 'punches The Wanted's Siva in the privates'
The British boyband were hanging out backstage at The Voice in Los Angeles after performing new single 'Chasing the Sun'.
Bieber is said to have walked up to the singer and jokingly smacked him twice.
"Justin Bieber is a prankster," Jay McGuiness told The Mirror. "He pranks people all day. Although I'm not actually sure that what he did to Siva was a prank.
"We'd done the show and Justin basically just came up and punched Siva hard in the balls. And then did it again. Siva wanted to hit him back, but you can't go around smacking kids… he's only little."
Kaneswaran confirmed the reports on ITV1 breakfast show Daybreak, saying: "He came up to me during a conversation and smacked me in the privates. It was a game, a very aggressive game, which was very painful!"
Tom Parker added: "Siva limped into the dressing room and asked 'Why's he picking on me?' It was funny."
Kaneswaran jokingly added that he is planning his revenge on Bieber, saying: "Who'd win in a fight, me or Bieber? Exactly. But you cannot go around hitting children. And anyway, he's got million-dollar sperm… I couldn't possibly go there. But I'll get him back..."
The Wanted are rumoured to be planning a duet with Bieber and Chris Brown in the near future.

Girl in Justin Bieber video in damage control mode
When it comes to Justin Bieber’s fans it’s not unusual for things to get ugly. Especially where ‘other women’ are concerned. Remember the death threats sent to Kim Kardashian?
Luckily, a very Belieber-savvy Rachel Barnes - the gorgeous chick who Bieber can’t keep his hands off of in the new video for latest single Boyfriend - damage control was the first thing on her mind.
Married woman Barnes wasted no time telling TMZ.com her role as his super-hot love interest in the video and the chemistry between the two was “only for work.”
The actress streesed she’s NOT a threat adding she’s “already got a man”
